Cengkareng Transit Hotel

The staff were friendly, and it's only about 10 minutes from the airport. There are also great food carts on the nearby streets. Still, this is really just somewhere to stay overnight because of the airport. I wouldn't want to stay longer.

Several tiles in my room were broken, and the bedside table lamps were broken too. I stayed there for two nights last month, and the tiles really need fixing.

The service is better than you'd expect from its current two-star rating. The staff were friendly and helpful, even bringing my luggage up to the room, and they can deliver food ordered from the menu in the room. There's also an airport shuttle roughly every two hours. It's a good budget option, though it's farther from the airport than some other hotels. The neighborhood has all kinds of local places, from food stalls and small restaurants to print and copy shops, laundries, and shipping points. My room was thoroughly cleaned, but the building and rooms are clearly quite old. There's no fridge, and the TV isn't smart, though it works. The AC worked, and the shower had hot water as expected.

The hotel has a big area and plenty of rooms, so it can fit a large group. The rooms are spacious, with decent, complete facilities. It's close enough to the airport, about 10-30 minutes to the terminals, and the hotel shuttle leaves every two hours starting at 6 am. My favorite part was the little furry companion 😍
