The hotel sits inside a guarded housing area, near food stalls and a convenience shop. But gate B is locked at 2000hrs, so getting back to the hotel then means taking a Grab or taxi and paying extra. I stayed in a Level 1 room and could hear staff children running and playing at night. The pillow was much too flat, and there was no toilet tissue despite there being a holder for it.

For 5k IDR, parking was cheap, though not free. The building has 5 stories and no lift, and there’s no TV Cable. It’s tucked into a residential area, so driving back to the main road can be a bit awkward. You can walk to the main road through a small door by the closed gate, open from around 9AM-10PM. On the plus side, the room and bathroom were neat and clean, the staff were polite and humble, and there are lots of street food options and a convenience store nearby. The second floor is worth trying if you want to be close to the private living room with AC and TV, plus a separate smoking area. For the low price, I had a good stay.

The water heater does work, but takes a while to get hot. The pillow is very thin, though manageable. There’s no TV cable, just local channels with a fuzzy picture.

We left a note with our booking that we’d arrive early the next morning because we were traveling by bus, but got no reply, so we assumed it would be fine. Around 4-4.30 AM, exhausted from the trip, we walked from Giant BSD and found the road to the property blocked by a locked gate and portal. It’s inside a housing complex, and there was no information about how to get in. We had to order gocar just to enter the complex. At reception, nobody came when we rang the desk bell MORE THAN 5 TIMES. A security guard was asleep and snoring on the lobby sofa. When woken, he half-asleep said, “Paling di kamarnye, ketok aje,” then went back to sleep. We kept ringing with no response, gave up, and started looking for another hotel at 5:30AM. VERY VERY VERY DISSATISFIED!
