The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in went smoothly. I slept really well in the comfortable room. Breakfast offered plenty of options and the food was good quality. It was a relaxing, satisfying stay at Golden Tulip Essential Tangerang.

The private setting made it easy for us to enjoy dinner comfortably and exclusively. The staff were courteous, attentive, and professional through the evening, looking after guests without hovering. We had a truly satisfying private buffet dinner at the hotel. The room was elegant and comfortable, and it was well prepared for a private event from the moment we arrived. There was an impressive range of dishes, all fresh, flavorful, well presented, and good quality, with something for different preferences. The dinner exceeded our expectations, was well organized and delicious, and came with a high standard of service. Highly recommended for private gatherings, corporate events, or special occasions.

The breakfast spread is varied and good value for an affordable price. The hotel also has spacious apartments and ample parking, plus a grocery store right in the lobby. Some rooms could use more attention to cleanliness, and sounds from the hallways or highway can carry. Tangerang is a useful transit hub with Indonesia’s largest airport, though it may not be a major sightseeing destination. The Golden Tulip Tangerang Hotel is a convenient place to stay, located about halfway between the city center and the airport.

The bed was comfortable, and although the air conditioner wasn’t very cold, it was acceptable. We also got free breakfast before our flight while waiting for the transportation. The staff were humble and friendly, so it was okay for a short rest, though the hotel is around 19 km from the airport by car. Maybe a motorcycle ride would feel faster. I ended up here after my flight from Jogja to Jakarta, scheduled for 1 PM, was delayed until 3 PM and finally took off at 3:45 PM. It was a transit flight, and I still had to continue to Aceh. My next flight was supposed to be at 4 PM, but it was rescheduled and I was moved to the next day at 10 AM. We received free transportation and a free hotel stay as compensation. We were too tired to be angry and just had to deal with it. The drama wasn’t finished, though. The toilet in my room was clogged. I called the plumber three times and nobody came, so I asked to change rooms. Thankfully, the new room was fine. I did notice dusty spots, especially around the container area, and the bathroom smelled quite bad, probably because of poor drainage circulation.
