Howard Johnson by Wyndham Tangerang

The room I got was spacious and nice, and reception service was really good. Breakfast was simple but delicious, so thumbs up to the chef. My main problems were that the gym wasn’t operating and traffic around the location was awful. Everything was jammed, and it was hard to get a Grab. Still, the hotel stay itself was good.

The staff were friendly, and the room was okay and fairly quiet. The hotel could use a bigger sign, since we missed the turn last night and had to back up. The TV has a Smart TV box, so using Netflix or Disney+ with your own account is no problem. My room’s remote wouldn’t work with the TV, but I could control it with the infrared remote on my phone. The shower is my main complaint. Its floor is nearly flat, or slopes toward the area outside the shower by the water closet, so water runs out instead of to the drain and leaves that floor wet. The hotel should fix the slope or add a barrier. There’s a fairly large pool for swimmers, and a gym too, though its equipment could use an upgrade.

The staff were lovely, always smiling and ready to help, and the hotel was clean. Rooms are on the small side but clean, and the pool is really nice. The price feels fair for what you get. Internet speed was 30/30Mbps.

A great place to stay. Everyone greeted us with a smile, the room and surrounding area were clean, and breakfast had plenty of variety. Really recommend it.
