I enjoyed staying here. The staff are always friendly, the apartments are great, and the gym is well equipped.

The pool’s a nice place to relax and chat, and the lobby is comfortable too.
On October 13, 2024, at 10:10 PM, I needed to get back to my car at Springwood. The apartment doesn’t offer free access to the parking floor, so I asked the concierge for help. He didn’t have an access card, surprisingly, despite being responsible for security, and told us to take the car ramp instead. I’m fine with using stairs, but the ramp has no pedestrian walkway. A car could come through at the same time, making that route dangerous.
I’ve lived in this apartment for four years, so I want to give people some insight before they rent or buy a unit. The location is convenient. It takes around 5-10 minutes to get to Alam Sutra, 20-30 minutes to Gading Serpong and Cikokol, and 40-50 minutes to Bintaro Jaya, without tolls. The toll gate is close too, and Jakarta can be about 30 minutes away outside rush hour and on Saturdays. There’s inexpensive food nearby, including warteg and Indonesian food you can walk or ride to, so delivery isn’t necessary every day. The building has a minimarket and laundry accessible from the lobby, plus a pool, gym, and park. The lobby is comfortable, and the staff are professional and friendly. I’ve even become friends with quite a few of them. The hallways on each floor aren’t soundproof, which I actually like because I can hear outside when I get home late and it feels less scary. Still, traffic gets backed up at rush hour as soon as you leave through the front gate. They have a back gate but refuse to open it, apparently to avoid hiring more parking staff and save money. On lower floors, around 5-15, traffic noise can be loud. The shuttle to BINUS used to run, but it stopped after COVID, which is a big downgrade. Parking is a serious problem. There are thousands of units but only about 300 car spaces, and some have been turned into motorcycle parking. Management has also combined two spots into one because large SUVs couldn’t fit in the tight spaces, even though two small hatchbacks like a Brio, Ignis, Mirage, Ayla, or Agya could fit. With so few spaces, wasting them this way makes no sense. They should assign reserved spots to residents, with license plates marked on them. You can only buy electricity tokens from management during working hours. Pest control is poor too. They ignored my complaints about roaches, and some even nested in my car. At certain times, a really bad smell comes from the upstairs unit’s water closet pipe. My AC also leaks after about 10 minutes. A mechanic said the drainage is a continuous pipe shared with other units, so when the water volume rises, my unit can’t drain properly and water drips all over the place. The apartment is next to a textile factory, in a city with some of the worst air quality, so I’d recommend an extra air purifier. People still rent units out by the day like hotel or motel rooms, even though management has prohibited it. Some guests are loud and throw parties. I was able to complain to the lobby security, and they responded quickly, so respect to them. The gate staff work 12-hour shifts for minimum wage in a tiny booth. There are only three of them, and management should add more people. That’s my take for now. I’ll write more if I find anything else about the place.
Springwood residence worked out really well for our Jakarta stay. We stayed in an apartment managed by Mathilda, and our Host was friendly and always there to help. There’s a fully equipped gym and a large pool, with Indomaret and restaurants nearby. Living World Alam Sutera is just a few minutes away by car and has lots to do and eat. Absolutely amazing stay, I’d recommend it to future guests.
