OYO 3736 Wisma Bougenville Syariah

Clean and comfortable, with easy access and lots of street food nearby.

There’s quite a bit of parking, and the balcony was useful for my husband to smoke. The AC was cold too. We booked two rooms because other places were full. The hotel is close to lots of eateries, with varied and tasty food, but it’s poorly maintained. In our rooms, the large vents above the doors were covered only with newspaper and duct tape, while the bathroom ventilation was open. The other room had two open vents. Luckily we had newspapers and bought duct tape to cover them ourselves. One room had towels that weren’t white anymore, and used towels were hanging there. Our bathroom was fine, but the one my son used had a partly clogged drain, so water pooled a bit. The sheets weren’t very clean either, and the receptionist wasn’t friendly.

The rooms are poorly maintained, and the service is poor.

Even though I’d booked ahead, I was told there were no rooms when I arrived. This has happened on several visits, especially when I check in late. The receptionist was unfriendly and rude, and the way they handled it felt completely unprofessional and unethical. I won’t book here again.
