Pakons Prime Hotel

Even when it was busy, we barely waited for our food. The staff were courteous and responsive, and the portions were filling and reasonably sized. At Pakons Prime Tangerang, the seating feels comfortable and the atmosphere is welcoming. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful, with care put into how it was prepared. Good value and service, and a solid dining choice around Tangerang.

Avoid this place if you need a good night’s sleep. I checked in Saturday to Sunday on the 7th floor, and the pounding music and vibrations were still going while I wrote this at 1.30 AM. The receptionist said it was coming from the Sky Lounge and would be turned off, but 10 minutes later it was still on. The music finally stopped at 03.00 AM, then changed to slow music. Next time, be honest about how noisy the lounge is before selling rooms. I wouldn’t recommend it for families, especially with kids. My first room, 703, had a very strong mold smell. Room 705 smelled moldy too, but less so. The room was dirty, definitely not a local 4 star. There was lots of mold, and the corridor carpet looked very dirty, dusty, and musty. The swimming pool was full of bugs, aka jentik nyamuk. Basement parking was very wet and smelled strongly of fish. I called the front desk again at 02.15 AM and got the same answer as before. This hotel is no good, it might as well be sold as a hotel disco.

I was only here briefly before flying back home to Bali, but it was a great stay. The bed was comfortable and the room clean, with toiletries provided. The front staff were super helpful, and housekeeping took good care of the accommodation. The rooftop pool and bar are a nice bonus for relaxing and taking in the city view. The pool could be cleaner, but everything else was great. Thank you 😊 I’ll come back. Love from Bali.

At the top of the hotel, you can watch a beautiful sunset with light drinks. The hotel is in central Tangerang, with food easy to find nearby, and Old Tangerang City Market (Kota Lama Tangerang) is about 2 km away. It’s a good hotel for a fair price and fair quality.
