The pod was clean, the TV worked, and headphones were provided, although the remote didn’t. I also got a locker, towel, and slippers with my six-hour booking. There were no regular charging sockets inside the pod, only USB ports, but I found a few sockets in the common area. I booked hoping to nap and shower before my flight. Some guests talked and played videos out loud, so I didn’t get the nap I’d wanted.

This capsule hotel is tucked in a corner of Terminal 2 at Soekarna-Hatta airport, near the convenience stores, ATM center, and Muslim prayer area. The price seemed decent, and the staff were informative and easy to talk to. The lobby, hallways, pods, and bathrooms were clean. The pods were comfortable, with adjustable airflow, a blanket, a pillow, and complimentary drinking water, with free refills. The communal bathrooms are separated for men and women.

I was only staying at the airport for a short night and booked this expecting an easy way to rest. Instead, a lot of time went on problems. The gentleman who checked me in was kind, but the check-in involved so many steps that I had to stand around while precious rest time slipped away. The key card wouldn’t open my capsule. My 28-inch suitcase clearly couldn’t fit in the locker, but nobody told me that during check-in. The restroom wasn’t very clean, and the faucet had weak water pressure. While staff tried to sort out the card and luggage issues, another guest was waiting because their capsule would open but wouldn’t lock. I had to wait too, and it made the hardware problems seem common. The only blanket was thin, more like a towel. There were individual ventilators in the capsules, and I liked being able to choose the ambient light color. But the charging ports were all traditional USB-A, with no Type-C or standard plug outlets, so I left with my phone uncharged. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if there’s another option.

You can hear noise because the rooms aren’t soundproof, though earplugs should easily take care of it. This capsule hotel sits in the airport next to the departures area, and everything I saw was clean, including the bed and bathroom. The staff were helpful and nice. There’s a large storage room for luggage, a big locker for a day bag, and a free water dispenser. Prices range from 300.000 IDR for three hours to 385.000 IDR for a full day. They also have a box hotel room with a bed for two, priced at 655.000 IDR.
