RedDoorz Plus near Soekarno Hatta Airport 2

The room was nice and clean, and the staff were nice too. Getting to the airport still means arranging a taxi. The road to the hotel is in very poor shape, and traffic gets bad at busy times. It's nearby the airport, so it's fine for a transit stay or one night before a flight. Ok lah.

The receptionist was nice, but when the RedDoorz app/website wouldn't let me book because it was faulty, I was pushed to pay a higher rate. They also refused late checkout. Customer service was awful.

The main drawback is the ugly road, which is full of trucks. Otherwise, I would stay here again for a business trip. It's very close to the airport, and there are 2 minimarkets within walking distance, plus Bandara City Mall, which you can reach by Gojek/grab. The room was quite spacious, with a nice bed and bathroom, AC, super fast wifi, a cupboard, hot water, TV, amenities, and 2 small bottles of mineral water. It's one of the cheapest hotels with proper facilities I can imagine, and comfortable enough for a staycation with your spouse, though I was there for a biz trip LOL. RedDoors rooms in the front building don't have windows or any kind of view, and my non-smoking room smelled terrible of smoke. My first night was good at Joe's Hotel at the back in a premium room. I booked a second night via agooda, then was told to move because the first booking was premium and the second was a RedDoors room, even though both buildings shared the same Reception. The location has potential, but the customer service was terrible and reflected poor management. They wouldn't change the booking, let me pay the difference to upgrade, or cancel so I could book again, although the same room was available online for the same rate. They also wouldn't let me talk to a manager or supervisor. Room service repeatedly knocked and woke us up despite the DND sign. I said I'd leave a bad review, and they didn't seem to care.
