Simple Studio Room at Grand Serpong Apartment By Travelio

The staff were great, the sort you’d expect at a five-star hotel. The food was fine too. The escalator moves painfully slowly. It’s an apartment that’s been turned into a hotel.

I really liked the pool on the 10th floor. The adult pool is about 140 cm deep, and the children’s pool is around 70 cm with a slide. It’s separate from Marcopolo swimming pool, where you have to pay extra. The breakfast is typical for a three-star hotel, with lontong sayur, Soto Ayam, porridge, fruit, salad, omelets, sausage and takoyaki showing up regularly. I hope the takoyaki can taste better. The Kunyit Asem and Jahe jamu drinks were nice and helped me get my voice and stamina back. We attended a training event for people with visual disabilities. As a certified Master Trainer concerned with disability issues, I appreciated how the hotel staff served and helped our participants. They also responded quickly when I reported a problem with my door key and when my sister fell by the pool. Excellent service, five stars. The bedroom view was lovely, looking toward the Cisadane river, toll road and real estate. For a better view, ask for a room above the 20th floor facing west or north. The city view is nice, though traffic-hour truck and bus horns can be heard a little. The room has standard facilities: AC, TV, refrigerator, safety box, WI FI and water heater. My favorite was the sunset over the river and toll road. Our meeting package was a little cheaper than others. We had a large training room, Zamrud on the UG floor, with standard equipment including WI FI, a good sound system and projector. The toilet and Musholla were clean and roomy, but a bit far from Zamrud. Snack breaks and lunch offered a variety of food and arrived on time, though the taste was standard to me. The location is fairly strategic for Tangerang and Alam Sutera.

Really good hotel, with great food and service. Very recommended.
