Lovina Krui Surf

As a first-time visitor to Krui, I left with a really bad impression. I stayed one night, and the room was in poor shape, with a broken door. There was an empty room of the same type right beside ours, so we politely asked to move. The receptionist called the owner, who refused and said it was being held for “foreigners” (bule). It was shocking to be treated differently because we were local. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re local.

Everything costs too much, and it’s a long way from the airport and the city. The weather can be scorching, then suddenly turn to rain and storms. There aren’t many shops, no hospital, and none of the services you might need, just rooms and beaches. The beaches are small, and you have to pay to get through because they’re all private. It’s not worth visiting. Once the sun sets, there’s nowhere to go!

The place has a nice feel to it, and my room was lovely, with a good bathroom and beds. It’s near the beach and reasonably priced. The rooms are okay, but the facilities need attention, especially the air conditioning and shower. My room didn’t even have electrical outlets. Staff need to be better at noticing what guests need.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was very good, and everyone was really nice. There’s also a pool and billiards. A great spot for surf lovers. Thanks, Yoris, Frantxesca, and Helly. See you next year.
