The Wi-Fi was insanely good. Just enter the password and you're connected. The rooms themselves were okay, but from the first floor all I could see was walls, which made for a terrible view. The shower was decent, though the head was broken, so good luck lathering up if you get the same room. There was a black stain on the bed, and the loose sheets came off when I pulled the blanket, but I was too tired to fuss about it.

I booked a suite and found the room nice. Akau Pujasera is nearby, and I’d recommend staying here if I come to tanjung pinang again.

For the price, it was fine for an overnight stay, and the location was good. But the bedding cleanliness left a lot to be desired, and like others have mentioned, the Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms. Still, it’s very cheap.

The hotel is easy to reach from the city centre, and getting to the airport by car takes about 20 to 25 minutes. It’s also only around a 2-minute walk from Akaw Potong Lembu, the popular night food market. Along Jalan bakar batu there are plenty of food stalls that open at night, plus one restaurant open 24 hours. It’s an older budget hotel, but comfortable for a night or two or as a transit stop. The rooms were clean and neat, and breakfast was included. When I stayed, they had noodles, fried rice, and chicken porridge. There are stairs and an elevator for reaching the upper floors.

You can hear people talking or watching TV in the next room, since the rooms have no soundproofing. Parking is very limited, with room for only about 7 or 8 cars. The location is really good, right in front of the akau potong lembu culinary centre, the highlight of tanjung pinang.
