I had to switch rooms three times before they offered an upgrade, which required an extra payment. The hotel is dirty, and the bed had lots of stains and torn bed liners. Its location is good, so for a budget hotel that might be acceptable, but I had to put up with quite a lot to stay here.

The location is great, right in the city center near warung teras, where President Jokowi eats. There aren’t kettles in every room, and the hotel sandals were missing from mine. I asked for some, but they never came. Breakfast was only nasi campur, with no porridge, eggs, or other options.

The hot shower works, and the room is tidy, but the bed wasn’t clean enough and had visible stains. Breakfast is just so-so, with little variety, though there is fruit and an appetizer or dessert.

I stayed there after a blackout hit Tarakan for almost two days. It’s a nice budget hotel in the business district, and the breakfast is delicious.

A simple, pleasant hotel that’s clean and cozy enough. Parking space is very limited, and breakfast choices are limited too.
