Grand Metro Hotel Tasikmalaya

The pool was a nice size, partly outdoors, and the shower was great. I also found the staff very friendly, and there’s a spacious gym with plenty of equipment. The beds were clean, the rooms fairly large, and the view stretches a long way. For the price, it’s a good hotel again. Still, there was too much mold in the bathroom for a four-star place, and I didn’t like that smoking is allowed here.

The indoor pool is wide and relaxing after a tiring day, and the fitness room is large, though some equipment doesn’t work properly. The room felt standard for a three-star hotel. It’s well placed for food stalls and the city center, which makes it one of the better hotels in Tasikmalaya. Breakfast needs attention: the food is very basic, and there are so many staff around that we felt watched while eating.

The location is the best part, near the sports center, and the hotel is pretty good overall. Parking can be a little tricky, but it was fine. The staff were very helpful, especially Mr. Eep in the restaurant. I’ll come back next time.

There’s plenty to eat nearby, and the hotel is in a strategic spot close to Asia plaza. From my room I could see Galunggung mountain, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Breakfast had lots of choices and tasted good. With the pool, fitness facilities, and service that was almost perfect, the luxurious feel was there. Highly recommended 👍👍👍
