Hotel Wijaya Kusumah

For 200k rupiah/$15, the place was affordable and clean, and the bathroom was nice, though it had no sink and the water pressure wasn't very good. Smoking is allowed in the rooms, which was disappointing, but they had mostly cleared the smell, with just a slight trace in ours. We had to ask for a blanket, and there were no shower towels provided. Then construction began around 0600 right outside our room, with hammering everywhere. At that price I can put up with some inconvenience, but the early, loud construction was too much. I wouldn't recommend staying until the work is done, and even then, just one night, two at most. When we checked out, I asked them to call a taxi because I had no cell phone service. They said they wouldn't call one for us.

I asked for an extra bed and got answers that had nothing to do with my request, so it was a pretty bad experience. It's a budget hotel, so don't expect too much and bring your own things. It's still okay for an overnight stay, though looking for a deal at another hotel might be a better option. :)

Fine for a short transit stay or if you don't expect much. The rooms are clean and comfortable enough, and there are different types, including non-ac rooms for a budget trip. The tv only has local channels.

The bathroom looks newly renovated and clean, and the rooms are fairly spacious and clean for a budget hotel. It's also close to the city hall of Tasikmalaya, just 3 minutes away.
