We chose this place because it’s away from central Ubud, and the property and rooms were good. We were two families with three kids and booked a three-bedroom villa. That means three separate rooms sharing a pool, not three rooms inside one building. The rooms have basic amenities. Breakfast takes some planning: there’s no buffet or morning à la carte option, and they ask you to choose from the menu the night before, which can be difficult. A few staff could have been more welcoming. The spa is very basic as well.

Having a private pool surrounded by nature felt dreamy and incredibly relaxing. The staff were warm, attentive and helpful, always checking that we were comfortable. Their hospitality made the stay special.

We were so disappointed that we feel others should know what happened. Right from arrival, we were put in the wrong room. The internet didn’t work at all, and basic things like the safe were missing or unusable. Staff spoke very little English, and service was extremely poor. We could order a coffee and, by the time someone got to the bar, they’d forgotten what we asked for. The staff seemed untrained. They kept apologizing, but that didn’t fix the experience when we’d paid good money and wanted some peace in a jungle setting. Different staff gave different answers to the same questions, which only added to the frustration. Next to the resort there’s an active construction site, with loud machinery running all day, and other guests kept shouting, so relaxing was impossible. The kitchen was a disaster, and our private pool was dirty. We were told the water pump wasn’t working. This was a complete catastrophe and not worth even one star. Daniel and Zlatina

The hospitality, location, stay and comfort made this the BEST resort for us. The team responded to everything within minutes and were so helpful with every little thing. They’d go to any lengths to make guests happy. We felt so loved by the people here. Love, love, love this resort, and I’d highly RECOMMEND experiencing it for yourself.
