Ubud Sawah Homestay

We got exactly what we expected from the villa with a private pool that we booked through Booking.com. The setting among the rice fields is out of this world, peaceful, and close to Tegallalang, with Ubud not too far away. We even ordered fantastic vegan food from Ubud and had it delivered by Grab. There’s a small restaurant on site, and you can buy mineral water and fruit there. There are several accommodation options, so check them carefully when booking to avoid disappointment. They include rooms in the main house, bungalows, and small and larger villas in the rice fields. AMAZING!

The rice-field setting was peaceful, with no crowds, just nature, and made for lovely photos. Ubud Sawah Homestay was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. They even let us leave our luggage before check-in, which was a big help. Breakfast was delicious and came with fresh fruit. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back next time. Highly recommended!

A quiet place with generous, helpful people, right among the rice fields and with a pool. We stayed three nights and four days in the bungalows at SAwah Scenary Homestay, hosted by the friendly Yoga, Ami and her children. Everything was clean, and Ami’s cooking works wonders. The facilities could use some improvements to their look and comfort, but it’s still a good, affordable place that I recommend.

The owners, Amy and Yoga, were really friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed the stay enough that we’d definitely come back. We booked last minute through Trip.com, but check-in was a hassle because the listed address was wrong and we had to search online for the right location. Since they manage everything themselves, I hope they can sort out the booking and address problem so guests don’t end up with cancellations. Speaking as a host myself, I know that can be tough. Hope it’s even better next time!
