Mr Parwa was professional and so helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. My stay wouldn’t have been the same without him. I highly recommend the place, and thank you again, Mr Parwa.

A good place to stay.

The private pool and pretty garden were the only real pluses. We had a bad experience and wouldn’t recommend this place, despite having travelled widely and never run into this kind of situation before. The owner was around all the time watching what we did, and his manner felt cheeky and unprofessional. When we arrived on the second day, tired from jet lag and a six-hour time difference, he pushed his activities on us, which seemed like a way to make money. The cleanliness was mediocre: we stayed a week, and they only made the bed, without changing the sheets or cleaning. The mosquito net smelled awful and needed a wash. There were also large spiders making webs in the garden. The bathroom needs better lighting for evenings, especially with an outdoor setup and big insects around. We rented a scooter from the owner and had problems with it. One evening it wouldn’t start when we were far away, so we had to call a taxi late at night. The scooter was already in poor condition, and he later accused us of damaging its tire and asked us to pay, which felt surreal since Bali’s roads are full of holes and craters and require slow driving. He’d rented it without insurance, a signed contract, or asking for a license. We also weren’t accepted after arriving in Denpasar after 9 p.m. following a long flight, so we had to book and pay for another place for the night. We never got a refund for the night we’d already paid for, even though they had refused to accommodate us late. One morning we had an early activity and told the owner in advance. He said we’d skip breakfast. We thought there might be a snack when we returned, but there was nothing, though we’d paid for it. The massage listed at 300k included a body scrub and was described as two hours, but we only got 1h30 and paid the full price. He also charged us for four minibar beers when there had only been one, at 85,000 rupees, namely 20 euros. The rest was a hassle. Move on.

We left completely in love with this little house. It was a dream for a really good price, with a private pool that felt like a treat. The breakfasts were spectacular, and the guy running the place helped us rent motorbikes at a great price. It was peaceful and away from the crowds, the best place we stayed. When we return to Indonesia, we’ll definitely stay here again 💖
