We had a great week here. The house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and the kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials for cooking at home. We found it convenient to have a bike for getting groceries from Clandy and Pepito, though they're a 40-minute ride away. The host arranged a dolphin excursion for us, and it was amazing. I also recommend Pantai beach for swimming, and Warung Seni for a flat white and breakfast, with vegetarian options.

Tejakula is a neat little place, with what you need and not much else. The kids ran to the school walls to see me walking to the market, where the ladies collared skin tone and height. It really doesn't feel like you're in Bali. The house sits among rambutan groves, which is cool. I stayed a few weeks. The house was a little run down and had bugs, though I think they got them under control. Sound carries right through it, so the first prayer at 5 will wake you. If that doesn't, there's an endless chorus of children, dogs, and roosters. The thunderstorms are amazing, though.

The garden is beautiful, and the house has everything you might need. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach. Inda and her family are truly wonderful, welcoming hosts.

Gede served us watermelon and coconut, then made a great Indonesian breakfast. The house was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and the host was amazing.
