Dieng Kledung Pass Hotel & Restaurant

There's no traffic noise because the hotel sits well back from the busy road. The room was spacious and practical, with plenty of hot water, though the decor is dated. The glass-sided restaurant in the grounds is excellent. It's a great base for climbing Sindoro and Sumbing volcanos. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, arranging early morning motorcycle transport to the trailheads and a car for onward travel.

I stayed for the day before a night hike, but a party or band was playing loudly on the ground level past 10pm. It made getting proper rest before the hike really difficult.

I've stayed here twice. The rooms are quite large, the beds reasonably comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. What matters most is that the bathroom hot water works, since it can get pretty cold in the evening. They also have water dispensers in the room hallways. The facilities are simple and basic, but the price is affordable and it suited what we needed at the time.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The hotel itself was clean. The twin-bed room had two extra beds hidden underneath, so a small family could fit in one room. The restroom entrance design was shockingly awesome. The public restroom was broken during my visit. The restaurant is quite far in front of the hotel, though the walk is nice for a little morning exercise.
