The place is large, and I can see it must take a lot to maintain, especially with times being hard. They were cutting the grass when I arrived. The staff were really friendly, and I understand there's a lovely restaurant across the road. I found mosquitoes in my room, so they gave me bug spray. It's cheap accommodation, and breakfast was included.

The room was comfortable, the resort looked lovely, and I had a fabulous massage. The pool was nice too. Breakfast, though, was very basic, and the restaurant was never open. Scooter rental costs a lot, and the staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience.

The grounds are wonderful, full of fruit trees, and the pool is huge and clean without being over-chlorinated. The on-site masseuse is a real gem, highly recommend them. It was good value and a lovely stay otherwise, but a few things kept it from being five stars. There was no shower curtain, and the toilet flush was broken, so water kept running unless you shut it off by hand. Breakfast was bland, street cats begging at your feet were starving, and the boy at the front desk was inattentive.

It's an old, run-down resort, but the place is beautiful if you don't mind that. The location and service were wonderful, the price was reasonable, and the pool was great.

The resort has clearly seen better days, but it made us feel welcome and helped us when we arrived. Budi kindly upgraded our room to a deluxe one for free and was very hospitable. The pool was clean, and we got lucky on the night we stayed: it was just us, three friends and me.
