The hillside position gives the hotel a lovely view, with the Mahakam river and Tenggarong looking beautiful morning, evening, and night. There are spacious rooms with view windows, though some facilities and equipment need repair or replacement to make them more comfortable. The inner court makes the room layout feel more comfortable. It's quite modern and one of the best hotels in town, but the design and equipment could use a refresh. There are meeting rooms and lounges suitable for large meetings, seminars, and weddings.

The lift car broke while I was staying there. Food and breakfast quality need improvement too, and the full cream milk we found wasn't fresh. Still, it's the best hotel in town.

The blue hills, Bukit Biru, make for a great panoramic view. The room is spacious, with vintage, elegant-looking furniture. Maybe it could use a little renovation, and breakfast could have more variety.

The atmosphere feels luxurious and quiet, and there's a nice view behind the hotel lobby. It's a nice place in Kutai Kartanegara, though there's something not quite right with the toilet. Hopefully that can be fixed.

The services are somewhat mediocre, but they'll do. If you want somewhere quieter at night, this isn't really the place to stay. Otherwise, be my guest.
