Please don’t stay here, even if they offer a very cheap price. The location is bad, and there are problems in every room. It used to be an old hotel and they’re trying to get it running again while it’s under repair, but there are too many issues. There are lots of insects and mosquitoes, and the pool was filthy, like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. Dogs come into the gardens and poop, and nobody cleans it up. Bugs and little lizards are all over the rooms. They gave me room 6 and said it was the best, but I had a horrible night because of the boiler noise. There were dengue mosquitoes in that room, and when I moved to another one, that room had its own problems too. It was dirty everywhere. The entrance was dirty as well, with nobody looking after it. The owner seemed super greedy, and the Balinese family struck me as very strange. The place had so much negative energy.

It’s a warm, friendly place, with the sea no more than 10 minutes away by scooter. The rooms are new, and the pool is a decent size. Since there aren’t loads of rooms, it’s quieter here. You can walk to food places, but for getting around this area I’d advise renting a scooter or putting an app for bike taxis on your phone.

My girls and I spent a couple of days at bagong guesthouse and had such a good time. The owner was really welcoming, and our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. I’d happily recommend staying here! :D

We really liked being able to work at the dining area, since there’s an outlet right there. It’s by the pool, and the owners are so friendly and accommodating. They also have affordable food delivery menus, and the owner can take your order and call the restaurant for you.

Great homestay, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Echo Beach and Old Man's are about 10 minutes away. There's a little kitchen, a cheap minibar, and the Wi-Fi is fast. Enjoy!
