Berawa Dini Guesthouse

The bathroom smell was so strong that I couldn’t stay comfortably in the room, even though the room itself was stunning. The bathrooms were covered in mold and limescale. I took out the bath mat, opened the doors, and asked housekeeping to clean with bleach, but the smell remained. The man at reception was lovely and showed me two other rooms after I said I wanted to leave. The first was a little better, but the second was even worse, so I decided to go. They refunded two of my three nights, which seemed fair since I’d been there all afternoon after checking in, and apologized repeatedly. It’s a gorgeous hotel with beautiful staff and a stunning pool, which makes the bathroom issue such a shame. Booking.com reviews all say it’s a 5/5 hotel with nothing wrong, so I think people should know about this. Maybe I’m a little fussy, but there are cleaner places at the same price. I hope I can stay again one day after the bathrooms have had a deep clean to get rid of the smell.

This was my first hotel after arriving in Bali for the first time, and I felt welcome right away. The room was clean, and I liked the pool area too.

A quiet, clean little hideaway with a pool, where you can get away from the crowds. The restaurant serves a variety of food from early in the day until late evening. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the busier beach clubs. Great location, and I’d stay again.

Made was especially wonderful and kind, and helped us so much. The staff here are all friendly and ready to help with any request. The guesthouse has its own cafe and is within walking distance of useful places. Our room was cleaned daily and was spotless, with no cracks for mosquitoes to get in. We had no cleanliness complaints at all. We’ll be back, thank you!
