Cove Ume Nerus Residences & Villa

The pool looks just like it does in the Google photos, and the staff are nice. The rooms are decent for the price, too. But bugs under the stones and wooden panel in the toilet shower are unhygienic and spoil the stay. I don't know why management keeps ignoring guest feedback about getting rid of those stones.

The road was only about 2 meters from my bed, and bikes rushing past sounded like they were right beside my ear. With no seal on the door, the room was incredibly loud. Nobody showed much concern or offered a room change, so I left and booked somewhere else. Book at your own discretion.

The pool was a relaxing spot, and the view from my room was a nice bonus. Cafes and the beach were close by, but the area was still quiet enough to rest. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and ready to help with anything I needed.

This is a modern, pleasant place, but our stay was frustrating. We had trouble communicating because the staff spoke very little English. In almost two weeks, our room was properly cleaned only twice, and one of those cleanings happened after I contacted the manager. The sheets had stains, including someone else's blood. I sent photos and complained, but staff still didn't replace them. Towels were just rehung after we left them on the floor. We also found two cockroaches in the room, possibly getting in through the big gaps under the door. Noise from the kitchen and pool at night made sleep difficult. It's a great place to stay overall, but bring patience.
