Guesthouse Mooz

We settled in quickly during our eight days at Villa Mooz with Ann and Benoit. The garden was especially calm and relaxing, and there was a nice pool too. Guests can use a kitchen near the resort entrance, and the hosts arranged a scooter for us through a very easy process. Our bungalow was spacious, with an open-air bathroom, and Katut cleaned it every day. Breakfast was generous and really tasty. The place has a lot of charm and care in its details. We'd love to return to Villa Mooz if we're back in Bali. Thanks for the hospitality, and all the best for the future. Luca and Clio

So much green and so many trees, it felt like Ubud even though we were still in Canggu! The rooms and outdoor areas were clean and nice, and the kitchen had everything for cooking. Thanks to Benua and the staff!

The villa was a lovely base for our twenty days in Bali. We could reach several nice, inexpensive places to eat on foot, and with a scooter the ocean was about 10-15 minutes away. It's set back from the noisy streets, while still giving access to the Canggu area. We especially liked the spacious open-air bathroom and sitting on the small terrace, surrounded by the quiet and greenery. The four rooms are in separate buildings with space between them, so we didn't hear our neighbors. The grounds were tidy and full of plants, with a large shared area for relaxing or doing yoga. Around the pool, there are stylish spots for shade or sun, and the pool is clean and large enough to actually swim in. There are thoughtful details throughout the villas, and the whole place has a special atmosphere. We felt the owners and staff cared about making guests comfortable. Benoit and Anne-Lise were wonderful hosts, warm and welcoming, but also gave us privacy when we wanted it. Thank you for all the good memories that added to our time on this beautiful island.

I stayed eight nights on my first trip to Bali and mostly recommend the place. What they call a room is actually a pretty separate little house, with an open-air bathroom and a cozy spot by the entrance. The whole property and pool are lovely, and friendly women came to clean every day. I had no insect problems indoors. The price worked out well through Agoda: I paid 450k a day, and the cashback brought the cost per night to about 350k. I liked it enough that I would've stayed longer, but it was fully booked. The location is a bit away from central Canggu and not especially interesting to spend time in, though cool places are a short ride away. One thing I only noticed on my last morning: there was a construction site right next door. Workers on its roof had a clear view into the open-air shower of my house, listed as Queen Room on Agoda. That made me uncomfortable, so I skipped showering. I don't know how it could be fixed, but at least this house has that issue, so be aware. Still, a really nice place with great people.
