June, who worked at the Guest House, and the manager were kind to guests. I can't remember the manager's name. I thought for a long time about whether to leave a review, but the way the girl who told me to move out treated me made me angry. She didn't help with my things or even say goodbye, though that wasn't the day I was supposed to leave. There was what looked like a colony of ants in my first room. At first I just washed them away with water and didn't think much of it. On the second day, insects started biting me, which I thought might just happen in Bali. By the third morning, though, my whole body was covered in bites. I left the guest house a day ago, and something is still biting me. Maybe the insects, ants, or bedbugs got into my suitcase without me noticing. After I showed them the bites, they moved me to another room, where everything was fine. The first room also smelled terribly of mold, and the walls seemed to have just been painted over. I'm still itching and getting bitten by insects that may have been left on my clothes.

The service was OK, but the price didn't feel justified. The rooms were unfortunately in bad shape, with mold throughout and a strong smell because of it. They moved us to another room, but that one also had mold and was full of mosquitoes. I've lived in Bali and never seen so many mosquitoes together in a room.

There are plenty of places nearby for breakfast, though the hostel doesn't serve it. Motorbike rentals are easy to find, and there's lots of motorbike parking, but no car access for parking. A shared kitchen has a stove, fridge, and drinking water. There's a washing machine too, though we didn't use it, and no iron. We booked through Agoda at 10-20% off the standard price. The room was as advertised and fairly private, with walls that blocked most noise and a clean, semi-outdoor toilet. Some wall areas had mold, but it wasn't too bothersome. The AC wasn't great and didn't feel very cool even at 16°C during the day, though it was enough at night. The pool was algae green when we arrived, but staff had cleaned it by the next morning and it turned a pretty tourmaline color. It looked nice in photos, but the water felt salty and dried out our skin and lips, so I wouldn't recommend it for swimming. It was also quite shallow, about 1.5 m, and the glass side faces a public road, which may bother shy people. For an economical stay, it's a good hostel if you'll spend most of your time clubbing or cafe hunting.

The lady was friendly, and the room smelled good, but the location felt a little remote. We stayed on the third floor, where the room was a bit small, with glass walls you could see through and only roof views. The stairs were very steep and narrow. If you're claustrophobic, that floor may not suit you. I saw the ground floor rooms too, and they seemed okay, spacious enough, with a big toilet.
