We’re here in Bali, and the location is about 15 km from the airport. The trip can take 45 minutes, and a ride may cost around INR1500. It’s down a lane off Gang soka, and a car can drive in. Overall, we had a good experience.

One of the nicest places we stayed in Bali. It was very clean and tidy, and our house maid was warm and friendly. We did have a few issues: the toilet didn’t flush properly, the shower head was broken, and there was no Netflix on the TV. That didn’t matter much since we were barely in our rooms.

We rented the villa for a month, and one morning the manager, Eric, texted that he wanted to bring people to view it with just one hour’s notice. When we said that wouldn’t work for us, he called, yelled, and said we couldn’t refuse because he was the boss. A few days later he showed up already shouting. I shut the door because he was so aggressive, and he tried to break it. After that, we agreed to leave the next day. The whole experience was awful. Don’t expect a private villa, and don’t rent one managed by Eric.

A nice 2 bedroom villa right in the center of Berawa, with loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff and breakfasts were amazing. Highly recommended.
