The room was roomy enough for two, with a Smart TV, and the staff were humble and really nice. They even came by to check whether the Wi-Fi was working after we asked for the password. There’s lots of Chinese food and fresh seafood with beers nearby, and Alfamart and Indomaret are about 300 m outside the complex. We didn’t expect facilities like a pool or anything, but it was comfortable enough for a night staycation. Cleanliness: 5, Wi-Fi: 4, Staff: 5. Great experience 🔥

They kept 120k from me over a blood stain, which happened after I cut myself on the sharp wooden bed frame. Blood is literally one of the easiest things to get out in the washing machine. The bathroom was dirty and had no hot water. I asked for no chili in my breakfast, but still got plenty. They also didn’t provide the double bed we requested and ignored my messages through Agoda and WhatsApp. I wasn’t going to say anything, but since I got scammed, I am. The room was nice, and so was the breakfast. It’s easy to get to from the Cikupa Exit Gate of Tangerang-Merak. Come at night, there’s plenty of food and drinks, including alcohol, around.

The room was clean, with a big bed and linen that felt just like home. What made the stay unusual was the size: each room is made from a used container, about 30 m or 323 ft, and it feels incredibly spacious. A large glass window looks out onto calming greenery. It’s in a big, quiet complex of developing real estate, away from noisy streets but close to the toll road. Some planned facilities weren’t working yet, and there was no restaurant, cafe, or 24-hour store, even though the room was set up for one. Still, there used to be a 24-hour option nearby before COVID-19, about a 600 m walk outside the complex gate. The staff were helpful and quick. I found the cozy container room a uniquely comfortable place to stay.
