Hotel Villa Emitta

The food is awesome, and this is the best place to stay in Tomohon.

The restaurant meals were high quality and well priced, and the buffet breakfast was first class. The staff were fantastic. We'll definitely stay here next time. Mark and Tracey T

The hotel itself is quite nice, even though it feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, almost in the woods. The room was nice too, but the floor was a bit dirty and there was a fly or something in the room. The service was pretty bad. The extra bed took ages to arrive, and I had to keep asking housekeeping to bring it. It was the same when I asked for fresh sheets. If I hadn't called, they probably wouldn't have brought them up at all. After breakfast, I even heard staff complaining about my room because I asked to have the sheets changed. It's a shame the service was like this, since the hotel itself is nice. I stayed because of the high ratings on Google and other apps, but honestly, I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay.

We were already worn out when we found there were no towels in the bathroom of our deluxe room, and we didn't ask for any that night. In the morning we were rushing to check out on time. A basic room-preparation checklist could have avoided that inconvenience. Checking out was frustrating too: the receptionist seemed new, made several mistakes, and caused delays and confusion while our rental car was waiting. Staff should double-check the deposit details and returned keys to prevent this kind of mix-up.
