The bay’s coral is the best I’ve ever seen, just magnificent. Saleman village is sweet, and the people are so friendly. We loved our time here despite the practical snags. Take the meal package, since the village has few other food options, though Ramadan may have affected what was available. There were several long power cuts, so bring a good headlamp. The Wi-Fi never really worked for us, but mobile reception was strong, so make sure you have enough data. The staff were delightful. Meals were delicious, with fresh fish twice a day, good vegetable dishes, tasty afternoon snacks, and tea and coffee, though the menu had limited variety. Breakfast was fried rice or fried noodles with a well-done egg. The accommodation itself is basic, but the location right over the water in front of Saleman village is stunning.

Iphan is such a darling owner and really goes the extra mile for guests, even in this remote spot where running a place can’t be easy. Starlink Wi-Fi is a big plus if you work, and the house reef is still intact. The kitchen crew and Ibu Etti do a fine job. The mattresses are okay, though the bathrooms could use a makeover soon. A wonderful place.

The room was clean, and the resort served delicious food. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent too. From Ora Sunrise View you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset, with a wonderful view. Thanks to the Ora Sunrise View team, I’ll definitely come back!

The deck was my favorite spot, lounging on the comfy beanbags to watch the sunrise and sunset with the waves nearby. On a clear night, thousands of stars spread across the sky, something you rarely get to see living in the city. The scenery is beautiful and untouched by city pollution, and the place is wonderfully calm, though it’s really far from town. The hospitality was great and the food delicious. I’d definitely come back if I can 😄

After a long day, the deck is the best place to relax. You get lovely views of the mountains and the local village of Saleman from this fantastic location. The hosts, boatman, and driver were wonderful, the rooms were above average, and there was a wide variety of dishes. Depending on the waves, it can get noisy, so you may want to bring earplugs.
