LYNN Hotel Tuban

The restaurant food was a real highlight for me. I tried most of the menu and liked both the variety and the quality. There are choices for local diners and for international guests who may not know the local cuisine, so it's easy to find something you enjoy. The staff were also excellent, friendly, respectful, and ready to help find a solution, even in unusual situations. The hotel is conveniently close to the city center, with shops, cafés, and transport nearby. It has everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and there are several room types, from Deluxe King to higher-level options with twin or King-size beds. I visited during Ramadan. I'm not Muslim, and there was some noise at night and early in the morning, which seemed mostly due to where my first room was. I asked the staff for help, and they quickly moved me to the quietest room in the hotel. After that, the stay was completely comfortable. Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful time. If I return to Tuban, I'll definitely stay here again. 😊

Breakfast was a strong point here. The food tasted good, there was a nice range of options, and the dining area was well arranged, with a smoking area too. The price is fairly low for this class of hotel, and it's worth trying in Tuban. If they fixed the issues I had, I'd recommend it to a colleague. I stayed in an executive room, a little bigger than a deluxe. It was fairly spacious, the amenities were okay, and they even provided free teh kotak and sari kacang ijo. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The smart TV's connection to the hotel's Wi-Fi was very poor. The Wi-Fi itself was also something I had trouble connecting to. The hotel opened in February 2025 and is near GOR Tuban, about a five-minute walk away. It has a luxurious-looking lobby, though the drop-off area is very small. Check-in went smoothly, but they didn't give me the two room keys I usually get at a four-star hotel. Instead, they wanted a 60k deposit for a second key, which I really disliked. The elevator buttons need replacing because they don't show the actual building levels. Handwritten numbers covering them spoil the look of a new hotel. I had a bad experience with the electricity cutting out for quite a while, around five minutes at about 5:30 am. This happened twice, on my first and second days. A hotel in this class should have an emergency generator that restores power within seconds. Laundry was another problem. I dropped it off in the morning expecting it back by the time I returned at 6 pm, but it wasn't ready. I had to call reception to have it sent to my room. I hope they improve the service and hospitality. The pool and gym are in a separate building, and I don't like that layout, especially when there isn't staff on standby at those facilities. The pool is quite big, but its 140 cm depth feels unusual and could be dangerous for someone of average Indonesian height. The gym wasn't appealing. It looked like they'd just put some equipment in a room and called it a hotel gym, and even lower-class hotels have a better layout. There are two parking areas, one in front and one behind the main building.

Fast internet, friendly and helpful staff, and a good restaurant. The rooms are spacious and great. It's near the city's sports center and food stalls, so this hotel works well for all kinds of trips.

The room and bed sheet were clean, and overall I found the stay satisfying and worth the price. Just a couple of small things: the toilet seat sits a bit far from the wall, so the bidet spray is a little far away, though it's still okay. I also had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi, probably just an occasional issue.
