Aman's Guesthouse

Bangbang took me around the whole island and showed me its highlights. We also spent time with local people, and I had two amazing days. It really felt like being part of a family, so saying goodbye was hard. I hadn't booked online. The owner's son invited me to stay, and it turned out to be a great decision. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the lake view amazing. You can sit right outside your room. The only small hassle was a door that was tricky to open and close. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a warm, genuine experience.

We felt very welcome and would definitely come back. The staff were lovely, spoke great English and were eager to help with anything they could. The room was what you'd expect for the low price, but the view was amazing and there are good restaurants nearby. We had a very pleasant stay.

I'm pretty sure our room had bedbugs. We found bites all over that same evening after checking out, which was really frustrating. The owners need to check this and deal with it. The lake view is stunning, and there are balconies where you can enjoy it. Our room was spacious, with a big bathroom and hot water, but the bed was in very bad condition.

The family was very friendly to me, and I'd happily stay here again. It's right by the lake and has a relaxed feel, though the jet skis get annoying now and then. I guess they're common around here. The room was basic but clean, and for the price I thought it was well worth it.
