The terrace and direct lake access for swimming were nice, and the room itself looked modern and recently renovated. But there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom. In the morning, chairs were dragged around for a long time during cleaning, and it sounded like there was almost no sound insulation. There is a hot shower.

I enjoyed the homemade bread and avocados here. Rendang was just so-so. The place is pretty modest, though the views are good, and it costs a bit more than most places. Their menu has more variety and options than others in the village.

There are plenty of options on the menu, and they also offer homestay accommodation. Prices for meals around Tuktuk are affordable, with a stunning view of Lake Toba. I ordered barbecued meat with fries. The fries were great, but the meat arrived fried instead.

The view is lovely and the rooms are nice. The owner was really sweet and gave me a jeruk and Pisang for free. The young waitresses were always helpful.
