Toba Village Inn

The room I got was very dirty, and I doubt it had been cleaned before I arrived. It was dusty and didn't look wiped down, and the floor felt especially filthy when I showered. I wouldn't come back.

For £45 a night, the suite felt like a bargain. The hotel is one of the nicest small places I've stayed in, with a great lake view, a nice pool, and clean, spacious rooms. Breakfast was good too. The AC didn't cool very well, possibly because the room is so big, and the tap water flow was very weak. I also couldn't enjoy breakfast in the mornings because some guests gossiped so loudly. A sign asking people to keep their voices down would be nice, since some people don't seem to respect others.

The restaurant is definitely worth trying. It feels authentic and has decent food options. From the lake-view room on the second floor, you get an open view of the lake and the area around it, with a really lovely lakeside feel. There was one thing to keep in mind: people sang karaoke at the bar every night, and the noise went on late.

The location is good, and there are two pools, one for children and one for adults. Breakfast comes with the stay, though sometimes the selection felt limited. During my four nights I had to switch rooms because water was leaking in the toilet and dripping from the ceiling. I'd think twice before booking again, as there are other places in the same price range I'd rather try next time.
