I waited more than 30 minutes before they told me the menu item was out of stock. The other orders were slow to come out too, and the service came with no smiles.

For a three-star hotel, the facilities are still pretty good, especially with OYO offering a room for 150,000 IDR a night including air conditioning. Then imagine paying over 1.5 million IDR just for the TV. Amazing, right? I was so disappointed that I forgot to take a photo of the room.

Is this a hotel or a duck pen? Why are we being sent back and forth with no clear explanation? ZERO ATTITUDE.

We were comfortable here, and the rooms were clean and fairly comfy. It’s close to Tomok and Ambarita ports, with a view straight across the rice fields to Simangande waterfall. There’s no air conditioning, but it was cool enough at night. The food was all delicious, especially the squid in Padang sauce. It was tender enough to bite easily, and the sauce was savory and just right. We’ll be back!
