Istana Hotel

I liked the view, the gym, and the supplies and snacks downstairs, but the room itself was disappointing. The floor was scratched and dirty, so I wore the hotel slippers the whole time. Some lamps were broken, one beside the bed was missing, and the shower head looked grimy, was too low, and pointed at an angle. Breakfast was included, though I first thought it was only mediocre. After the stay I have to say it tasted awful. For the price and the hotel's atmosphere, I expected a cleaner room and working, clean fixtures. They need to clean better and replace what's broken.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast had a nice range of local dishes. The room was spacious, with a lovely view of tulungagung, but the bed was old and had dirty stains in the photo, and we didn't have enough outlets for charging. There was no iron to borrow. From outside the hotel looks new, though the rooms still feel old. For what the facilities offer, it seemed rather expensive, and I'd wait for more improvements before recommending it.

A quiet, comfortable hotel with spacious rooms, fast hot water, friendly staff, and a good location. Breakfast was served to me, and the price was affordable. It feels like the place has moved on from its former glory into a modern minimalist style, which I really like. A good choice for a longer stay.

The central location and friendly staff made the stay pleasant. Lojikka has had renovations, and the roomy bedrooms have a modern feel and enough space for an extra bed. When I stayed in 2022, the rooms and bathrooms were clean, though there was still some dust from the finishing work. It's a promising update for the hotel.
