The noise made for two sleepless nights, so I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. I came for a couple of nights 3 weeks ago and had planned to extend, but drilling and other chaotic construction sounds were already starting between 7-8am. There was also loud, hardcore sweeping around 6am. I wake up to enjoy the sun, but having that choice taken away by such aggressive outside noise was really annoying. I understand they’re growing and need to do work at some point. Still, I wonder if they could do quieter tasks early in the morning and save the loud ones for later in the afternoon, when paying guests are already awake. After all, guests’ money is paying for the growth.

The area is very quiet, but the beach and all the places in Canggu are close. There’s a good warung/cafe and a mini mart at the property. The pool is very clean and great for cooling off on hot days. The girls managing the place are polite. A very good place to stay in Canggu, recommended!

The food is very nice, the location is good, and the stay was decent for the price. The room itself was nice, though the AC was very old and didn’t work properly. My toilet was poor quality and seemed to be an old kitchen that hadn’t been renovated. The rooms also didn’t match the pictures: they were in a concrete block, not wooden huts. I’d recommend showing accurate room and toilet photos, or better, renovating the toilets because they’re awful. The owner’s dog was very aggressive and tried to bite me one night. I’m not usually scared of animals, but I was really afraid I might spend days being treated for rabies or something after a bite. The owner took the dog away, though I’m sure it’ll still be around next time.

I’ve been coming back every year since 2023, and this familiar place really feels like home. It has everything I’m looking for: peace and quiet, a good price, daily room cleaning and fresh towels, a pool, a lovely garden, and a kitchen. Cafés, a grocery store, restaurants, and laundry are all within walking distance. The owners and staff are very kind and always ready to help. Pererenan Beach is the closest, just 8 minutes away by scooter, and it’s easy to get around Canggu by renting a scooter from the guesthouse or taking a moto-taxi. It feels like a hidden gem where you can find some calm despite being so close to busy Canggu. Without a doubt, a great option if you want to stay near Canggu and away from the noise and crowds.
