Anumana Village Ubud

We stayed here last year and loved it, but this visit was a letdown. At breakfast this morning, even toast with butter and jam came as stale, dried bread. The other breakfast was cold, and the special dinner with traditional dancers disappointed too: the duck was dry and mostly bone, while the chicken was only lukewarm. Service overall was poor, there was no poolside service, and it was hard to communicate in English. At checkout nobody asked how our stay had been. We won't be back for a third visit.

When our fastboat to Gili was cancelled at the last minute, the whole team at Anumana Village stepped in to help us continue our trip. Jati used her contacts at Eka Jaya to find us a 9am boat, even though it was already 7am. Pande drove quickly so we reached check-in on time, and both kept the Eka Jaya team updated along the way. Bodi packed breakfast for us in the middle of the rush, and Soupy remembered my birthday and surprised me with a little cake. Ana and Ardy made check-in and check-out smooth, too. We trusted this group completely, and they turned a stressful moment into something memorable. Jati, Pande, Ana, Bodi, Soupy, and Ardy, thank you for everything. 😊 The rest of our stay was wonderful as well. The rooms and villas were spotless and peaceful, the pool was a dream, and we enjoyed the food. They also put on a cultural night with Balinese dances and food. Service was lovely throughout, and the staff's kindness made us feel welcome from the beginning.

The resort itself was peaceful and beautiful, with fairly spacious rooms and good amenities. What stayed with me most was how warm and considerate the staff were. They noticed the little things, treated us with respect, and made the visit memorable. I was genuinely impressed by their example of good service. We were very happy with our stay at Anumana Village in Ubud and would recommend it to anyone after a quiet holiday.

I was nervous about travelling alone for the first time since my husband died, but for one week in room 102, the staff made me feel safe, valued, and special. Everyone was courteous, polite, and helpful, and you should be proud of them. The front desk team made it easy to get help: I only had to send a WhatsApp message. At breakfast, one of the ladies, I think her name was sisi, always saved me a table for the evening entertainment because I was on my own. I stayed at your hotel from January 21 to the 28th, and it was absolutely wonderful. The gift they gave me when I left was beautiful. I didn't open it until a couple of days later, and what a lovely thing to give the ladies staying with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
