D&B Mandala Villas

The quiet setting was lovely, and the pool was calm. Our room was clean and comfortable, and having a restaurant on site with plenty of choices was a nice extra. The staff were incredibly friendly. The road in is narrow, but I never had any trouble getting Grab drivers to come pick me up. I’d definitely recommend staying here ☺️

The pool is lovely and very well looked after, and the staff were responsive, friendly, and good at sorting things out. We also had a great experience renting a scooter through them. It was easy and avoided the usual paperwork stress. We paid 240K IDR for three days, which was a great deal. The restaurant worked well for breakfast and dinner. It costs a bit more than other places, but that makes sense since the resort is somewhat far from the city.

We stayed four days in Ubud, and Mr. Kadek was a very helpful owner who took care of requests from our travel group. The staff were all really nice too. Our room was spacious and had a water filter, TV, AC, a refrigerator, and a large balcony. We ate at the restaurant almost every day, and found it very good and reasonably priced. There’s a narrow alley on the way in, so big cars might not fit. Our Toyota Rush made it through fine, and Mr. Kadek can answer questions about access.

Good WiFi, a nice pool, and a restaurant. The staff are simple, and the place feels secluded with a nice vibe. Whether it works for you depends on the location, and having a motorbike would be handy for getting around.
