Element Bali Ubud Hotel

The shuttle to town and monkey forest was convenient, and there were plenty of facilities, including a spa, gym, pool, and children's play area. I didn’t use everything. Breakfast was great, with lots of choices at different stations, and they changed things up every few days. The small daily activities, like drink-making and sports, were a nice way to join in with the staff. For a big-name 5 star hotel, I expected a bit more. The place felt quite run down and could use a new coat of paint. It’s also massive, and the walk from our room to the lobby was long. A second lift in the other half of the rooms would help, as the walk gets tiring. The bathroom was dusty in places. Some rooms had no signal at all, which staff said was due to the layout. They moved us to another room and were helpful, but if none had been available, it would have been a nightmare. For the price, I think it could be better. It was okay, but I’ve stayed at better places, even if this might be 5* for Ubud.

The staff made this stay at Element Bali Ubud stand out. When I was feeling unwell, they quickly sent ginger tea and water to my room, and on mornings when I left early for tours, they arranged a breakfast to-go so I wouldn’t miss out. I really appreciated how thoughtfully they looked after me. It was easy to explore from here, since the hotel is close to the town center. The shuttle to Sacred Monkey Sanctuary and into town made getting around stress-free. With the helpful amenities and such caring service, I’d absolutely recommend it for a comfortable stay.

Mr. Fairuz was especially helpful when my bag was delayed in transit. He kept in touch, coordinated with the airline, and sent timely updates throughout our stay. The front desk team had also contacted us two days before arrival to ask about our needs and share property details and recommendations for places to visit nearby. We spent two nights at Element Ubud and had a great experience. Since it was my birthday, the team decorated the room beautifully, which made the visit feel special. Breakfast had a wide selection, including good Indian options. The warm hospitality and attention to detail made this an excellent stay, and I’d recommend it to friends and family.

The breakfast each morning was divine, and you can walk to central Ubud and back if you’re up for it. It’s worth picking a good time for the walk 😂 Pepito supermarket is about 15 minutes downhill and has what you need, though there are other places to choose from. I stayed three nights before moving on to Sanur and would recommend it. Sangat Bagus!
