Gita Maha Hotel

The location worked well, and scooter rental right across from the hotel was under 100,000 IDR a day. Staff were friendly and cleaned our room daily, though reception wasn’t always staffed, so it’s best to let them know when you expect to arrive. Our room, 201, had a broken bathtub and an old, partly broken shower. One light was out until we asked staff to fix it. Some areas had been missed during cleaning, and the towels looked worn. The rooms also need renovation and maintenance, so the pictures on booking/agoda don’t show their outdated condition.

The staff were very kind and tried to help whenever I asked. The hotel itself was okay, with enough space and a garden view. Towels were replaced daily and were clean, but they smelled bad. Breakfast choices were limited to four items, and the shower was broken, with water coming out of the tube.

We had to leave very early for our next destination, and the team still packed breakfast for us to take along. The place was very clean, and the staff were really good and considerate, especially wijak. All the best to the team at gita maha ubud.

The location is just outside the busy center, but easy to get around from by motorbike, with some great restaurants right across the street, including Mai Ubud and Mula Ubud. My boyfriend and I stayed for two weeks, and I could easily have stayed another two. Our room was very spacious, and it was always cleaned well with the amenities refilled. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I’d recommend staying here.
