Even though we arrived late, Budi gave us a warm welcome at Villa Damai, which made a lovely start to our stay. The villas are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, and we especially liked the pool and its clear water. When we asked for extra pillows and towels, Budi sorted them out promptly. He was also helpful with our questions about Ubud. We had a wonderful time and would happily return.

The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and Manager Budi deserves special thanks for his hospitality and attention to detail. Villa Damai Ubud is peaceful, well cared for, and in a great location. We had a fantastic time. Also, try the food at the restaurant across the way, “MELAI”.

The service was very good, though the villa could use some attention and felt a little remote. It was nice to escape Ubud's hectic traffic, but the last 1.5km into town was jammed. Recent floods had caused some road problems, to be fair.

We stayed for over three weeks and loved our time here. We tried Gajah, Garuda, and the villa with the private pool. The team and house manager are great, and I highly recommend Villa Damai.
