Ocean View Ujung Genteng

The owner was a great host, such a nice guy and an adventurer, and you can tell the team put a lot of care into the authentic feel of the villas. Our villa was roomier than I expected but still cozy and comfortable. After seeing the rooms our friends had at other hotels, I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I come back. Loved our time here, and I'll be back with my fiance!

What made my stay at Ocean View was the people. Thanks to Rudy, Fatima, Adip, and everyone whose names I can't recall for such warm service and a really enjoyable visit. There's plenty else to like: spacious, clean rooms, good food and drinks, and a beachside restaurant where you can have a beer and watch the sunset. You can also visit the turtle conservation centre and see the baby turtles released into the ocean.

The staff were consistently very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and a good size. It's a lovely complex right by the sea, with a restaurant on the beach that has a great atmosphere for dinner. We enjoyed two dinners, one seafood and one typical Indonesian meal. The Ujung Genteng turtle conservation centre is nearby too.

Lovely beach and a lovely place. We stayed in one of the older rooms. It was maintained well, though the shower pressure was low and the lock jammed a few times. The staff were okay, but really hard to get hold of.
