Tlogo Resort & Goa Rong View

We only came to eat, not stay overnight. The food was delicious, though the menu choices were limited, and the service was super friendly. The place felt comfortable, cool, and pleasant, with a nice shady atmosphere. We’ll try staying next time.

The staff were helpful and quick to reply on WhatsApp. The location is easy to find. Parking isn't especially spacious, but there’s room for about 5-6 cars in front of the front office, plus motorbike parking. There are rooms right beside each other and separate cottages, each in its own building. I rented a cottage with one double bed and a canopy over it. There were tables and a pair of chairs both inside and outside. The bathroom is semi-outdoor, with one shower and another that has hot water. Wi-Fi coverage and speed weren't great, and the TV only had four channels even after I scanned for more. The amenities were standard. I liked that tea and coffee came with a water heater. Food from the resort restaurant costs around 25k-50k, though the menu wasn't very varied. Breakfast was pretty standard, with 3-4 choices. I liked the omelet. They sometimes served white rice or nasi kuning, and there was a bread toaster. Drinks included 4-5 options, such as guava juice, orange juice, and infused water, or you could make tea or coffee yourself.

The setting has great views, fresh air, and cocoa trees around the hotel, so it could be a lovely place to stay. But it was poorly maintained. The swimming pool was old, the pool bathrooms were dirty, and the hot water in our room wasn't working. Breakfast was delivered to our room, but there was no menu choice. The great adventure at Goa Rong View luckily made up for our disappointment.

A good getaway for fresh air and views. It’s some distance from the main road, but locals know the place well enough to direct you without a map. There’s a large field at the front, with the offices and resort around it, plus little gazebos by a pond where you can rest. They offer tours for small or large groups. The route goes through rubber and coffee trees, visits a small coffee factory and the raw rubber sap processing area, then takes you by open car to the hilltop for a midday snack. You can also skip the tour, pay the ticket fee, and go straight to the top. There are family gathering spots, scattered playground toys, a small cafe, a gazebo for tour groups, and places to sit. There’s a small cave too, but the path is mostly poorly maintained. Their focus seems to be on the views and places for families with kids to play. Go in the dry season for a clearer view.
