The owners were genuinely kind and did their best to sort out every problem. The rooms and kitchen were clean, and cooking in the pleasant terrace kitchen was enjoyable. I found the price reasonable, but this place could be a much better hotel if some things were fixed. The internet was noticeably slow, and for the last two days there was none at all. As someone working remotely, I had to keep going to another café to get work done. The mattresses and pillows urgently need replacing, they were so uncomfortable I ended up with a stiff neck. The AC filters need regular cleaning too, because my lungs felt full of dust. And hot water needs sorting out: only one room has it, the others don’t.

The quiet surroundings and cool breeze help make up for being a bit far from the center, where you need to take a car, taxi, or rent a motorbike. The people are kind and accommodating, and having their store there is convenient. A very good place to stay.

For 100K it’s hard to complain, but just a friendly heads-up that this is a family-run homestay. The condition of everything is pretty poor, though the price and location are worth keeping in mind. It gets noisy at night from animal sounds and some constant beeping. Usually only one person speaks English, so try not to get mad ;D

Be careful when booking, they might not have a free room by the time you arrive. Check your Booking messages or call ahead before coming.
