Our child got very sick in Bali just as we arrived, which was an incredibly hard time for our family. Every staff member showed real care, checking on us and doing whatever they could to help. They adjusted meals to suit our child’s condition and thoughtfully prepared special food. The staff also arranged for a local doctor to come promptly, handling everything professionally and reassuringly. They kept looking out for us right through the end of the stay. On our last day, they made breakfast boxes for us to take away since we wouldn’t be able to have breakfast the next morning. I also had a wonderful birthday. The warmth and comfort we received made an unexpected situation into a deeply memorable trip. Everything about the stay felt exceptional and truly perfect. We’re very grateful, would highly recommend this hotel, and sincerely hope to return someday.

The staff are truly wonderful, and Anton deserves a special mention. His way of looking at life will stay with me for a long time. The villas are clean and furnished with great taste. The drive in is pretty bumpy, but being away from the main street keeps things quiet, which matters a lot when Bali has so many tourists.

The setting feels remote, even though you’re fairly close to civilization, and it’s a good place to disconnect for a bit. Our family had a holiday here, and the service was superb. The staff were well trained, friendly, attentive, and served good food with a smile. The rooms are a little old, but that adds to the charm. The bedroom is separate from the private pool and shared villa space, with panoramic views of south Uluwatu. The common area is open, so insects and animals come through during the day and night. That didn’t bother us much. The location is good, though the access road is rough and makes for a bumpy ride. Five nights felt a little long for us, so next time we might stay 2-3 nights.

The road to the villa could be in better shape, and the location is probably the one drawback. Otherwise, everything was really good. There’s an on-demand shuttle to nearby places, and I had no trouble getting a Grab either. The villa was spacious, well maintained, and nicer than I expected. The pool was clean, the staff were kind and attentive, and the villa faces the sunrise. I’ll stay here again on my next trip to Bali.

I’ve been here five days and nobody has asked how my stay is going. I’m trying everything I can to leave early. This place isn’t worth it, and the location and service are terrible. Hardly anyone speaks English. They asked about my dietary restrictions but still left a dessert full of dairy in my fridge. There isn’t even a gift shop with basic necessities, so you have to call a cab or get things delivered if you need anything. I don’t think this qualifies as a four star hotel. The furniture looks disgusting, the doors don’t shut all the way, and I have bite marks all over my face.
