Cinnamon S Hotel Wonosobo

For the price, the room was a good size and fairly clean, with a comfortable bed and standard amenities for a 2-3 star hotel. There was a window, though no view, which didn't matter to us since we were only there to sleep. No slippers, hair dryer, or fridge. The breakfast buffet was okay, if limited in choice, and service was decent. Parking fits around eight cars. It was worth the price.

We could walk to lots of restaurants, and many city attractions were nearby. The hotel sits downtown on a one-way street, but there's no view at all since it's only on the ground floor. Our room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The table felt too small, and there were a few dusty spots, though that was still acceptable. Breakfast tasted good and had plenty of choices. Weekend rates around here are much higher than weekdays. I paid about 500k for one night before going to the Dieng plateau.

The rate felt high compared with other places. I booked a standard room for two nights, but the pillow was thin, there was no kettle for hot drinking water, and the desk was too small for a laptop. On my last morning, I saw mice sneaking into the food stall at breakfast. Gross.

The breakfast was good and the service was good too. Hot water wasn't consistent, and cleanliness could be better. In the rainy season they need to provide more floor towels.
