The tent and porch were great, and I really liked having a hammock in the deluxe one. You get views of both the mountains and Lake Menjer. It got pretty hot during the day, so a fan might help, and the water heater worked fewer than once during my stay. Still, I had a lovely time.

The view over Lake Menjer was the highlight for me. The facilities were quite complete, and they gave us some complimentary items too. It was a really nice stay, and I hope we can return someday.

The views are breathtaking, and the room was comfortable. With affordable prices and excellent service, staying here in Dieng felt well worth it.

Mas Najib, the caretaker, was super helpful, reliable, and resourceful. The sunrise was the real joy, though. Their wake-up call comes from cheerful birds, and suddenly I felt so happy. Then the Sindhoro dan Sumbing Mountains caught the golden light against a magenta dawn sky, with glistening Menjer Lake below. Such a happy little nest!

I’d recommend HappyNest Glamping for a break from the daily grind. Above Telaga Menjer, it has misty hills, mountain air, and starry nights. The glowing tents and quiet forest make it feel peaceful, a lovely way to relax and enjoy the beauty of Central Java.
