Larasati Dieng Syariah Hotel

There are lots of restaurants a short walk away, and the hotel is well placed for visiting the Dieng Plateau. Our room was very comfortable, the hot water worked properly, and parking felt secure.

From the balcony, there’s a good view of the Dieng plateau. Parking is free, and they also provide toiletries and towels, which few places in Dieng do. We spent a weekend here with friends. The hotel is right beside the Dieng Signpost, putting it close to everything. Bapak Dani, the owner, was accommodating and helpful, making sure we were taken care of. We enjoyed his company over breakfast, and the staff were helpful as well. The rooms are big and have water heaters. The beds and sheets were spotless, and kept us warm at night in Dieng’s cold mountain climate. Highly recommended, especially for the location.

The owner gave us a warm welcome, and breakfast was filling. It was a buffet of traditional Indonesian dishes such as nasi goreng, sate ayam, and some vegetables. We especially liked the nasi goreng. The rooms were clean, with very warm sheets that suited Dieng’s cold weather, and there was a water heater, which is a must. The location downtown was convenient, near a convenience store and eating spots, and pretty close to Candi Arjuna too. The room rates were very affordable. We had a nice stay and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

For the price, the room was great. The beds were really comfortable, though the pillows could be bigger. The water heater was broken, so I ended up showering in cold water. A little chill wouldn't bother me, but this was cold.
